Job Camp was a program funded by MDEC and about hundreds of unemployed fresh graduates have been trained and given job placements. Throughout this programme, fresh graduates have undergone certification training such as Microsoft Window, SQL, Networking, Project Management and etc.

This program has created a lot of opportunities for graduates to improve and expand their ICT skills and knowledge. Through Job Camp, we also have created consistent and sustainable supply of skilled workers and we have helped the talent to fill the skills gap in the local ICT sector.

Job Camp programme was able to resolve the below industry challenges:

• Unemployment among Malaysia k-workers
• Fresh graduates’ lack of employment skills
• ICT companies resorting to employing foreign k-workers
• Lack of employable qualities among local k-workers affecting Malaysia’s attractiveness as one of the preferred locations for ICT business investments
